Fermanagh Lakelands

Come with us on this full-day vehicle-based tour of one Northern Ireland's best kept secrets, the unspoilt and charming County Fermanagh and Lough Erne. This tour takes you from Belfast or Lisburn west across Northern Ireland to County Fermanagh. Explore ancient castles and monasteries, stately homes and picturesque towns, experience the beauty of Belleek Potteries. Or explore the first international geopark in the world, Marble Arch Caves European Geopark. Drive around the shorelines of some county Fermanagh’s 100s of picturesque islands, and sample a home cooked meal in one of Enniskillen’s many eateries.

Castle Coole

Designed by James Wyatt for the Earls of Belmore, and completed in 1798, Castle Coole is a perfect example of late 18th-century Hellenism with a fine Palladian front. Castle Coole is now run by the National Trust.

Cuilcagh Mountain Park

At a height of 665m, Cuilcagh is the highest point in Fermanagh, and is the county’s only true mountain. The area is rich in geology, folklore, archaeology, flora and fauna while the middle slopes of the mountain are covered in a rich layer of peat.

Devenish Island

Devenish Island is famous for its perfect 12th-century round tower and ruined Augustinian abbey.

Enniskillen Castle

This fine castle, once the home of the Gaelic Maguire chieftains, represents an important part of Fermanagh's rich history and heritage.

Fermanagh Lakes

Upper and Lower Lough Erne offer excellent watersports, cruising and great fishing. With over 300 islands provide beautiful vistas.

Belleek pottery

On the banks of the River Erne at the north-western tip of Lower Lough Erne, this imposing building is home to the world famous Belleek Fine Parian China and is one of Ireland’s top five visitor attractions.

Florence Court, Enniskillen

One of Ulster’s most beautiful country houses enjoys the Cullcagh Mountains as a backdrop and is filled with rococo plasterwork and antique Irish furniture. Florence Court is now run by the National Trust.

Lady of the Lake Festival, Enniskillen

A fabulous series of events located around the wonderful Fermanagh Lakelands in Enniskillen.
